I really have been dreaming a lot.

Yesterday's was the best so far. I dreamt my mummy gave birth to another girl. So I have another sister! I just felt so nice and warm in the dream, to have a little one to shower my love over, to watch her grow up and all. ah.....

I even went to the extent of thinking of her name if my dream really somehow materialises. It will be Ng Jinling Joy. HAHA. I'm mad, yes.

It's quite silly of me to consider this. oh well.

Anyway, just read an email regarding the upcoming movie The Golden Compass, based on the first book of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials Trilogy - Northern Lights.
It basically says that the movie and books promote atheism and is out to challenge The Chronicles of Narnia. Go HERE and read if you want to know more.

I was rather disappointed because I was looking forward to watching the movie, and even wanted to read the book. But then again, I reckon that this is no reason to not watch the movie. I read a few of the book reviews and you come to realise that people who love the books are not into the book for its atheist ideology whatsoever (they probably don't even realise it), but other values like courage, love and the likes. Supposedly, the author's aim is to get kids interested in reading the trilogy after watching the movie; the second and third book are less subtle.

Ah well, let's see how the movie turns out.
